FEEDING THE HUNGRY
A MESSAGE FROM THE CHURCH
THERE IS A BURDEN ON THE CHURCH
THE CRISIS
Here at Hope that Helps International, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in changing the world with the love of Jesus. We are looking forward to implementing the Hope and Empower Model and providing Pastor Wambuzi and his ministry with the support that they need to begin making a difference in their village.

DID YOU KNOW THAT “ FOUR CHILDREN DIE DAILY FROM FOOD SHORTAGE?”
Through the church in Uganda, we currently provide support for an orphanage that house about 300 children. Our goal is to provide resources so that every child will at least have 2 meals per day. Grain is purchased at a wholesale market or farm. The grain is then ground into something similar to oatmeal. Currently, this is the most cost effective way to provide food for these children.

A CHILD WITHOUT AN EDUCATION IS ALMOST AUTOMATICALLY DOOMED TO POVERTY
Through the church our goal is to provide the orphans K-12 general education. According to research educated children have a greater chance of securing jobs than children that are uneducated. We believe that providing these children with education, can help to bridge the gap in their economy in the future. To improve the education, skills and development of the children, we have developed a program to improve the teacher education and training to help prepare them to teach in the classroom. Our current teachers are mostly volunteers. We are also working to provide scholastic materials and a functioning classroom space.
